Upon receipt, your wood should be stored in a clean and dry location. It wood must be stored flat, without direct contact with the ground (e.g. on brackets). If you have to store several panels, separate each panel with brackets to allow air circulation on all faces.
The application of a finish is essential to protect your wood. To obtain a professional result, we recommend that you choose the finishing option (availability depending on product). If you wish to apply the finish yourself, refer to the application instructions of the finish product manufacturer.
An oiled finish must be renewed regularly (6 to 12 months depending on the type of product used). A varnished finish should be renewed when it shows signs of wear. Do not allow water to stagnate on the wood. Do not clean with abrasive products. Do not put the wood in contact with hot objects.
