Designed and manufactured by our client Stéphane for his daughter, this superb wooden daybed was designed from custom-cut solid spruce panels .
To carry out his project, Stéphane first designed his bed using CAD software in order to study the various possible assembly options and obtain the exact dimensions of each piece of wood. Now in possession of his final cutting list, our handyman was able to order his custom spruce boards on our site, which he himself cut out using a jigsaw and hole saws to provide the patterns and curves visible on the uprights.
To assemble the various elements, Stéphane used several techniques: tenons and mortises, journals, screwing ... Once the assembly was completed, the whole was coated with 'a wood wax to guarantee an optimal protection.
