" We needed a storage unit for our vinyl records and DVDs.
The first challenge was that it would fit the shape of the piano that would be right next to it. The second was that it allows a smooth transition between the piano and the entrance to the living room. For this, it was necessary to invent asymetrical piece of furniture in order to free up space for passage.
We were inspired by the shape of the uprights of the piano to imagine this particular shape. Once the "ILICUT" panels were received (to obtain this type of personnalized shape, use our
online configurator), we oiled them to protect them.
We then grooved the bottom panel of the cabinet and the middle panel to insert two white lacquered tempered glass doors. This makes it possible to define a closed storage space in the lower part as well as to strengthen the strucuture of the cabinet.
Finally we endend up fixing oak legs bought on the Internet. "
