Poplar multi-ply panel for use in dry environments only (standard EN 635-2). Lightweight and pocket-friendly while also being resistant due to its composition, it is suitable for furnishing works (closet bottoms, etc.), partitions or other interior furnishing uses. Pre-sanded with grain 80, it can be easily painted, dyed or varnished to your desire.
Product advantages: lightweight but resistant, this plywood is ideal for uses as a non-structural element: furniture, furnishing, packaging, partitions, stands, etc.
Because the panel(s) are delivered unfinished after sawing, it is necessary to sand the edges of the panel(s) to obtain smooth edges.
CE marking as per standard EN 13986.
Composition:
Poplar plywood, gluing class 1 (EN 314-2).
Finish: classification of the better faces II / III (EN 635-2).
According to this European standard, the following are permitted:
- • very small knots,
- • sticky healthy knots up to a diameter of 35 mm on face A and 50 mm on face B, with cracks permitted if they are small
- • unhealthy or non-sticky knots on face A: 5 mm if not repaired, 10 mm if puttied and up to 3/m² and on face B: max 40 mm,
- • cracks on face A if they are less than 1/5 the length of the panel and up to a width of 5 mm and up to 3/m, on face B if they have a maximum width of 20mm and maximum of 3/m if they are not repaired or unlimited if all are puttied.
The markings on the panels by the manufacturer may leave a few traces of ink on the edges or both faces. These traces are compliant with our specifications because they disappear with sanding.
Whitened panels for better colour homogeneity and pre-sanding with 80 grain.
