Description

To furnish her living room, @studiomarine.home chose to create an attractive TV cabinet frame with poplar plywood shelves.

Marine wanted to create custom-cut shelves in the form of niches to make her furniture more attractive and practical. The wood she selected was poplar plywood, which she likes very much for its 'rough' feel and also because it is a light-coloured wood that blends in perfectly with her Scandinavian-influenced decor.

Marine ordered 8 poplar plywood panels for this project:
- 3 measuring 240 x 42 x 1.5 cm,
- 3 measuring 42 x 35 x 1.5 cm,
- 1 measuring 153 x 42 x 1.5 cm,
- 1 measuring 240 x 35 x 0.5 cm.

These panels were added to white Ikea pedestals from the BESTA range.

We're very happy with the result. The panels are of good quality and the cut-outs were just right!
