Robert Longechal, a passionate content creator specializing in DIY, consulted with us on a custom bookshelf project. He had a very specific idea for its design and entrusted us with his plans. The overall dimensions of the project are as follows: a bookshelf measuring 280 cm in length, 125 cm in height, and 30 cm in depth. His goal is to create custom furniture for displaying decorations and books.
Here are all the cuts made for this project:
7 shelves in red Medium Valchromat, 3 cm thick, measuring 125 x 30 cm.
9 shelves in natural beechwood, 1.8 cm thick, measuring 40 x 30 cm.
2 shelves in natural beechwood, 1.8 cm thick, measuring 50 x 30 cm.
3 shelves in natural beechwood, 1.8 cm thick, measuring 35 x 30 cm.
3 shelves in natural beechwood, 1.8 cm thick, measuring 60 x 30 cm.
1 shelf in natural beechwood, 1.8 cm thick, measuring 280 x 33 cm.
All panels have a C2-2 edge machining on the front side of the bookshelf.
To achieve invisible joints on the uprights and shelves, he used a biscuit joiner. Each cut made with the joiner was glued to position the biscuits.
