GLUED-LAMINATED PANELS FOR CUSTOM FURNISHING
A glued-laminated panel is a set of lamellas glued together length-wise and/or width-wise to obtain a large panel. It is a type of panel manufacturing commonly used in carpentry and cabinet making, especially for the manufacture of furniture, worktops, tables, partitions, stairs, etc.
ILICUT, as a supplier of wood and derived materials for individuals and professionals, offers a range of glued-laminated solid wood panels of different species (oak, beech, birch, spruce, etc.). We distinguish between 2 types of glued-laminated panels:
• finger-jointed glued-laminated panel: The lamellas are glued together width-wise and length-wise.
• glued-laminated panel with edge-glued lamellas: The lamellas are glued together width-wise only. One lamella is therefore equal to the total length of the panel.
