In this project, Pauline made the most of an alcove in her bedroom by installing a desk with two custom-made solid oak shelves. A clever solution that transforms an unused space into a functional and welcoming workspace that blends perfectly into the room.
A SOLID OAK DESK WITH SHELVES
Designed to make the most of the available space, this desk combines a desktop with two solid oak shelves. Together, they create a stylish and functional solution, ideal for designing an organised workspace.
Solid oak adds character to the room thanks to its distinctive grain and natural tones. The unfinished surface preserves the authentic appearance of the wood and creates a warm atmosphere. The two shelves keep accessories, books and everyday items within easy reach without cluttering the desk.
A CUSTOM-MADE DESK WITH ILICUT
To meet the exact requirements of this project, the desktop and shelves were ordered to measure using the Ilicut configurator. The 80.5 × 60 × 2 cm desktop features a C2_1 edge profile on one side and 3 cm rounded corners for a softer, more refined finish.
The two shelves, also made from solid oak and measuring 80.5 × 25 × 2 cm, perfectly complement the desk. Thanks to custom cutting, each element fits easily into the designated space, without the need for any additional cutting.
