These panels are delivered raw and ready to use. A sanding in three times is carried out with grain 80 then 100 and 120 on both sides. They are made in "continuous slats" or "full slats". This means that each panel is made up of solid planks or "blades". The bonding is carried out using a class D3 white glue in accordance with the NF-EN-204 standard and is free of formaldehyde. The quality of the drying of the wood, in an industrial dryer, guarantees our panels a hygrometry rate of the wood of around 8 to 10%. This rate allows great stability of the wood in all interior uses: carpentry and cabinetmaking. Given the very nature of the material, solid beech panels may undergo slight dimensional variations depending on the environment in which they are located.
This is why the dimensions of our panels may vary within the following limits:
• Thickness of plus or minus 1 mm
• Width of plus or minus 1 mm for a custom panel, 5 mm for a standard panel • Length of plus or minus 1 mm for a custom panel, 5 mm for a standard panel The grain of the wood is in the direction of the length of the panels.
Admitted : These panels are "downgraded" due to the presence of:
• Detachment of blades at the end,
• Blows and light dents
• Presence of light-coloured mastic on at least one side, even on the edges.
Description of the panels:
• Side A: traces of red heart, sound knots with a diameter of less than 2 cm and filled before sanding. Some traces of brown stains characteristic of beech, in limited quantities, diameter < 1cm.
• Side B: traces of red heart, sound knots with a diameter of less than 4 cm and filled before sanding. Traces of brown stains characteristic of beech without limitation.
