Imagine a space where solid wood blends perfectly with a warm, industrial atmosphere. A place where you can enjoy on-site brewed beers alongside delicious world cuisine, all within a unique décor. Welcome to Malterie de Lyon Part-Dieu (69)!
An ambitious renovation project
Malting Pot entrusted us with reinventing the dining area of its restaurant in the business district of Part-Dieu.
The goal? To create a space where the authenticity of raw materials meets a design that is both modern and welcoming. To make the most of the location’s generous volume without sacrificing conviviality, the owners turned to our expertise in solid wood cutting to supply more than 70 custom-sized tabletops.
Tabletops designed down to the last detail
All the tabletops were made with beech wood, ideal for industrial décor thanks to its light hue and warm grain. The edges on every side were gently rounded (edge shape C2-2) for an elegant and ergonomic result.
To enhance the wood’s natural grain while ensuring durability, a Solid Oil Natural finish was applied in our workshops before delivery.
An industrial yet cozy atmosphere
Malting Pot combines an industrial feel with a convivial vibe.
Tufted leather seating contrasts with the light wooden tables, creating a harmonious, luminous space. Metal pendant lights, greenery, and a mezzanine with wire mesh railings reinforce the venue’s “factory chic” atmosphere.
