Chocolate brown MDF (Medium Density Fibreboard) top made from wood fibre (details are in the technical characteristics). This construction has multiple benefits : the edges can be machined like for solid wood, in case of a cut or scratch, a simple sanding can repair the defects, average resistance of 30% greater than traditional MDF.
These custom chocolate brown MDF top are also water-repellent. Several shades of colours can be present on the panel. This is not a product non-compliance, but instead is an integral part of the specificities of this integrally dyed MDF, made from natural materials.

Gluing:
to glue multiple pieces of MDF to each other, we recommend following the instructions below:
1. Sanding at 80 grain to facilitate adherence and remove any paraffin coat present
2. WATER-REPELLENT white glue (mandatory, a normal white glue will not be as effective)
3. Clamp for 24 hours (instead of the usual 7-8 hours, otherwise there is a risk of it coming loose)
Finishes:
Valchromat panels are compatible with varnish or oil finishes.
