At the end of 2024, Tess decided to take the leap and completely redesign her kitchen to match her desires. To improve functionality, she changed the layout from a linear countertop to a U-shaped configuration. The result: more work surfaces, more storage, and a more welcoming space with an open connection to the dining area.
To add warmth and character to her new kitchen, Tess chose acacia, a wood with a beautiful, pronounced grain. She ordered several 38 mm thick worktops from Ilicut, cut to the precise measurements of her new kitchen layout.
