Description

Rustic quality solid spruce wood top made of full lamellas. Order your desk top or table top to your measurements by using the custom cutting form.

Spruce is a wood with a creamy white colour that displays a distinct light brown veining as well as regular knots. Used as a table top or desk top, it gives a touch of authenticity to your room. Our spruce wood tops are made of wooden planks glued to each other width-wise only.

The application of an oil or varnish on the spruce wood top before use is essential to guarantee its protection.

Storage

Upon receipt, your wood should be stored in a clean and dry location. It wood must be stored flat, without direct contact with the ground (e.g. on brackets). If you have to store several panels, separate each panel with brackets to allow air circulation on all faces.

Finish

The application of a finish is essential to protect your wood. To obtain a professional result, we recommend that you choose the finishing option (availability depending on product). If you wish to apply the finish yourself, refer to the application instructions of the finish product manufacturer.

Cleaning

An oiled finish must be renewed regularly (6 to 12 months depending on the type of product used). A varnished finish should be renewed when it shows signs of wear. Do not allow water to stagnate on the wood. Do not clean with abrasive products. Do not put the wood in contact with hot objects.
